In a bizarre turn of events, Donald Trump Jr.'s account on X (formerly known as Twitter) was hacked on Wednesday, leading to a shocking false announcement about his father's death. The message claimed that former President Donald Trump had passed away, causing a flurry of online speculation and concern. However, Donald Trump himself quickly dispelled the rumors by posting on his Truth Social platform, confirming that he was alive and well.

As news of the hack spread, searches for phrases like "Donald Trump Dead" and "Is Donald Trump Dead?" surged online. Supporters of the former president expressed outrage, accusing critics of wishing ill upon him. The false announcement read, "I'm sad to announce, my father Donald Trump has passed away. I will be running for president in 2024," adding to the chaos of the situation.

Minutes after the fake message was posted, Raheem Kasam from The National Pulse confirmed that Trump Jr. had indeed been the target of a hack. His advisor, Andrew Surabian, later stated on X that the claims made in the hack were "obviously not true," emphasizing the account had been compromised.

In the midst of the chaos, other messages appeared on Trump Jr.'s hacked account, including remarks directed at X owner Elon Musk and an inappropriate comment about President Joe Biden. The messages also hinted at "interesting messages" with controversial figures such as Jeffrey Epstein, raising eyebrows further. These posts were swiftly removed, and Newsweek reached out to X for further comment on the incident.

The incident drew a wave of reactions, particularly from the MAGA community, who expressed their fury over the fake announcements. Meanwhile, Eric Trump humorously remarked on his brother's misfortune, stating, "I don't want @DonaldJTrumpJr to get his account back - this is all too entertaining." He jokingly questioned what the password to the account might have been, suggesting it could be "Don2024."

As of now, Donald Trump Jr. continues to be a prominent figure on social media, boasting over 10.4 million followers on X. His father, the former president, has only recently returned to the platform after a significant hiatus, reinstated by Elon Musk after being banned due to the events surrounding the Capitol riot in January 2021. Despite the chaos of the hacking incident, Donald Trump has chosen to maintain his social media presence primarily on Truth Social.
